Song Wenguang, Chairman of the Group, was awarded the title of “Meritorious Figure.”

After two decades of weathering storms and facing challenges, the older generation of rubber industry professionals gathered at the Shanghai National Exhibition and Convention Center to attend the 20th-anniversary commendation ceremony held by the Shandong Province Rubber Industry Association. At the meeting, Zhang Hongmin, President of the Shandong Province Rubber Industry Association, announced the list of meritorious figures, outstanding entrepreneurs, and individuals who have made remarkable contributions to the Shandong rubber industry. Outstanding entrepreneur representatives who have made significant contributions to the development of Shandong’s rubber industry were honored; among them, Chairman Song Wenguang and nine other individuals received the “Meritorious Figure” award. The Chairman founded Xingyuan Rubber Co., Ltd. in Guangrao County in 1994 and launched a full-steel radial tire project in July 2002. In May 2006, the company produced its first engineering radial tire.

In 1994, the Chairman founded Guangrao Xingyuan Rubber Co., Ltd. In July 2002, the company launched a project to produce all-steel radial tires for heavy-duty trucks. In May 2006, the first engineering radial tire successfully rolled off the production line. In June 2008, the company produced its first giant all-steel engineering radial tire. And in April 2015, the first semi-steel radial tire was completed. Over the years, Comrade Song Wenguang, Chairman of the Group, has been a pioneer in the tire industry and a trailblazer in the transition from old to new growth drivers. He has consistently upheld the corporate philosophy of "building our business on integrity and contributing to society," boldly shouldering social responsibilities and dedicating himself to the community with the noble principle of "remembering our roots when we get rich and striving for further development." The award of “Meritorious Figure” to the Chairman is an affirmation by the provincial rubber industry of his many years of contributions to the development of the industry.
